100 unemployed male and female youths from 33 communities in Niger Delta being trained.

2012/13 Project
Skills Acquisition Scheme in Delta State.

100 unemployed youths trained & are being empowered technically towards Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) development.

2012 Project:
Post-vocational training mentoring and monitoring of 100 youths on small and medium enterprise development (SME).

100 youths are now gainfully self-employed and are able to manage their enterprises on self-sustaining basis.

Local Community Content Project – Registration, revalidation and capacity building of community contractors (Partnership with Rhema Care Partners Limited and DPI)

Community contractors are assisted technically to be able to handle subsistent projects arising from the activities of Oil and Gas industries under the local content policy.

Skill Acquisition Scheme in Delta State

100 Unemployed youths are being empowered to acquire vocational skills and start up their own income generating activities.

2011/2012 project
European Union Micro Project Programme for Nine States in Niger Delta region. Community mobilization, capacity building, Needs assessment and CDP in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni and Asari Toru Local Government Areas.
European Union  Micro-Project Programme for 9 States of Nigeria (MPP9)
Community people in 10 communities mobilized, community institutions strengthened, participatory rural appraisal conducted, community needs assessed and Development Plan produced for multi-stakeholders buy-in.

Community Health Outreach programme:  Free Medical Care, HIV Counseling and Testing.
Self Sponsor in collaboration with The Shepherd House Parish of Redeemed Churc.
Community people in Rumuodomaya, Rivers State provided with free medical services and HIV testing and counseling.

2011/2012 project
Management of Sustainable Development Club (SDC) in 68 Secondary Schools in Rivers, Bayelsa and Delta States

School children in 68 secondary schools imbibe the principle of sustainable development and able to think of ways to improve their lots independently.

Environment/Biodiversity and HIV/AIDS in 33 communities in Rivers, Bayelsa and Delta States

Community people became conscious of their environment and embark on tree planting, clean environment etc. HIV prevalent rate in the communities ascertain.  Also, the community people are able to know their HIV status.

Monitoring and evaluation of Universal Basic Education Projects covering 270 projects in Bayelsa and Rivers States

The status of social projects in 270 Secondary Schools ascertained for integration to national educational planning.

2011 Project
HIV/AIDS Enlightenment Campaign, Testing and counseling for 2011 Youth Corpers in Rivers State.
Self Sponsor (Development Prospect and Initiatives)
Over 2,500 Youth Corpers enhanced their knowledge base on HIV/AIDS and many of them became aware of their status.

2010 Project:
Monitoring and Evaluation of Bamako Initiative Drug Revolving Fund for Hospitals and Health Centres in 15 communities in Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa and Rivers State.

Essential Drugs are made available and affordable to community people.  The Drug Seed Stock has continued to increase, and Universal access to primary health care which is in the front burner of national and international discourse is being achieved.

One of the 27 NGOs selected from Niger Delta Region to carry out advocacy on the buying into the Niger Delta Regional Development Master Plan

Increased awareness of the ownership of the development masterplan achieved.  Multi-sectorial involvement in the advocacy process elicited.

Training of Heads and sub-heads of community Cottage Hospitals and Health Centres in Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa and Rivers States on “Leadership and Governance’ including the principles and philosophy of Bamako Initiative Drug Revolving Fund

The technical competencies of Doctors, Nurses and other heads of the Health Facilities enhanced and increased patronage in the Facilities.  Report and DVD of the training made available.
18.
Project 2008 - 2009
Monitoring and Evaluation of Bamako Initiatives DRUG REVOLVING FUND for 14 communities in Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa and Rivers States. These communities are Iko in Akwa Ibom, Owaza in Abia State, Kwawa, K-Dere, Kpite, Umuebule, Aminigboko, Obio, Edagberi and Soku in Rivers State, and Otuasega, Okoroba, Peremabiri and Opolo-Epie in Bayelsa State.

With effective monitoring and evaluation of the REVOLVING FUND, the Cottage Hospitals and Health Centres in these communities are experiencing appreciable growth.  Community Health Services of SPDC officially wrote to appreciate DPI for what they described as “Very High Standard work”.  The monthly technical reports are the evidence. The contract was renewed annually.
19.
Project 2008: HIV/AIDS/STD and Biodiversity and Environment Conservation Awareness in 10 communities in Rivers and Bayelsa States.
SPDC and Daewoo Nigeria Limited
10 communities gained insights and increase their knowledge base on HIV/AIDS/STD and Biodiversity and Environment.  They are now better prepared to protect themselves against the scourge of HIV/AIDS/STDs and their environment.  DVD copies and IEC materials produced and are available.

2008 Project: Engaged as the Researcher for South-South Zone for nation-wide research on integration of HIV/AIDS and related services in primary health care in Nigeria for international and nationwide advocacy.
Action Aid International, Nigeria.
Baseline situation established for South-South Zone.  Report produced and Action Aid has used the report for international and national presentation.  Advocacy process was on-going.

2007 Project: Coordinated and implemented in partnership with a local NGO, Association of Community Development Volunteers (ASCODEV), Sustainable Livelihood Assessment (SLA), Community Development Plan (CDP) and Tracer Study in six communities in Twon Brass axis under SPDC H-Block in 2007. This culminated into the establishment of GMOU in the communities.

Development Plans for the six communities emerged.  The communities were also empowered for further interface with other Stakeholders.  The technical reports, CDP documents, and documentary were produced and delivered to SPDC.

2007 Project:
Conducted Monitoring and Evaluation on HIV/AIDS “MAKE WE TALK” program in Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Cross Rivers States .
ACTIONAID International, Nigeria.
Technical report was produced on Midterm review of the program which enable ActionAid International, Nigeria redesign the program.
23.
2007 Project:
Coordinated situational analysis and Community Development Plan in partnership with local NGOs, using PRA/PLA model.  The NGOs include: ANPEZ (9th – 27th February 2007), River Ethiope Trust Foundation (2006 – 2007) etc. This culminated into the establishment of GMoU in the communities. Communities covered include: Kalabilema, Fantuo, Nembe town, Ewelesuo for ANPEZ; Rumuezeolu, Oginigba, Rumuomasi, Rumuobiokan for River Ethiope. Others are CEDSI:  Oloibiri, Ogbia town and other communities in Ogbia Local Government Areas.

Communities’ felt needs elicited, their Development Plans drawn out and technical reports produced such that meet SPDC standard.
24.
2006 Project:
Carried out, in partnership with DEVIN (an NGO) baseline study and Community Development Plan in 20 communities in 4 Local Government Areas (Ilaje, Ese-Odo, Irele and Okitipupa) in Ondo State in 2006.
Nigeria Agip Exploration (NAE).
Baseline situation in the communities elicited.  Community Development Plan mapped out for the communities.  The outcomes were documented and delivered as technical report to NAE.
25.
2006 Project:
In partnership with DEVIN (an NGO), carried out Micro-credit Scheme for Women groups in various communities in Isiokpo Local Government Area in a programme known as “Women Economic Empowerment Programme.”
United Nations Funds for Women (UNIFEM)
The technical competencies of the women have been enhanced.  Many of the unskilled women have learnt new skills; while those engaged in income generating activities have improve their earning capacities.

HIV/AIDS-based Abstinence Clubs in 3 Schools

A total of over 350 students were provided information and motivated to adopt HIV/AIDS free lifestyle and imbibed right attitude for success
